The free version of this tweaking tool for Vista only gives you access to some of the program’s features - you’ll need to upgrade to the Pro version to unlock them all. The available functions are split between four tabs. Tools offers system information, a Registry cleaner and a disk defragmenter. System conatins a recentitems cleaner, and system, file, network and security tools. If you’re looking for a simple, but much faster alternative to the Windows disk defragmenter, give this program a try. Click the Analyze button to scan a drive, and then click Defrag to reorder it. The program also lets you check for disk errors and defrag individual files and folders.

To defrag using this program, simply select a hard disk from the drop-down menu - or a USB flash drive if you’ve turned this option on - click Next and the program will instantly began defragging it. There aren’t many options available besides stopping or pausing the process, although you can opt to remove temporary files at the start and set the CPU usage level.

This add-on turns Firefox into a powerful file manager. Click the Files button on the Firefly toolbar to open the program in a new tab, then use the other buttons to perform useful tasks such as splitting the viewing window (horizontally or vertically), and switching between the different views (details, list, tiles and gallery). If there are a lot of files in a folder, you can use the filter option to only display the ones you want.
